The Kortz Center Heist beginner guide
New to The Kortz Center Heist? Here's what the Title Update 1.73 heist actually asks of your crew before you touch the Planning Board.
The Kortz Center Heist arrived in GTA Online on July 14, 2026 as part of Title Update 1.73. Rockstar's Newswire post introduces fixer Raf De Angelis and Mr. Faber, the two characters who frame the setup for stealing art from the Kortz Center.
Structurally, the Kortz Center Heist follows the familiar GTA Online heist shape: Scope Out, then a run of Prep Missions, then the Finale. What's different is the target — instead of a bank or casino vault, your crew is after paintings and exhibits, with the option to sell stolen art for profit or display pieces in your own Mansion Art Studio.
The Kortz Center Heist supports 1 to 4 players, so it is playable solo or with a full crew. Before you can launch it at all, you need to own a Prix Luxury Mansion and have purchased the Art Studio add-on through Prix Luxury Real Estate on Eyefind — more on exact costs in the unlock requirements guide.
Characters in The Kortz Center Heist
Mr. Faber and fixer Raf De Angelis are the two named characters tied to the Kortz Center Heist's setup. Raf De Angelis is also the contact you can call in Freemode to launch Prep Missions once you're registered as a Boss with the Art Studio built.
How the Kortz Center Heist is structured
The Kortz Center Heist plays out in three stages:
- Scope Out — case the Kortz Center and its four entry points before committing to a plan.
- Prep Missions — complete required setups across gear, weapons, and a getaway vehicle, plus optional unlocks.
- Finale — execute the plan, steal the primary target painting (and any secondary targets you go for), then get out.
Sell or display — the Kortz Center Heist's core choice
Once you've stolen a painting during the Kortz Center Heist, you choose whether to sell it for a profit or display it in your Mansion's Art Studio. A forger creates a replica to plant in place of the original, which is part of why entry-point and CCTV awareness matters during the Finale.
Community write-ups from Beebom report solo payouts in the roughly $2 million to $2.25 million range, with a four-player crew able to reach up to about $7.14 million if the crew grabs multiple exhibits. Treat these as reported figures to verify in-game, not guaranteed numbers — read the full payout guide for the caveats.
